Love it except gum chewing
Why the narrator thought it was important to add the sounds of Drake chewing gum beats me. It’s a very annoying sound. Fortunately, it’s a very small part of the book.

An enjoyable listen
Not sure what year this was written but it's a fun listen having grown up with Raymond Burr's Perry Mason. The narrator was perfect except for the female voices but his rendition wasn't enough to really bother me.
If you loved the old Perry Mason TV show then you'll love this. Earle Stanley Gardner was a good author and his books still hold up.

I liked the book and I usually like this narrator. But his “old prospector” voice annoys me. That the only reason I gave the performance three stars.
