The USS Seawolf was one of the greatest submarine raiders of all time. Having narrowly avoided the attack on Pearl Harbor the Seawolf set out for the seas of the Pacific to wreak havoc on Japanese shipping. As chief radioman he was instrumental in assisting Captain Frederick Warder to find and destroy enemy targets. From the claustrophobia of being trapped under water and the overwhelming fear of depth charges to the joys of aiding the war-effort and the camaraderie on the ship.

Very enjoyable
As the author indicates, this is meant to be entertaining not necessarily factual or even realistic. With that in mind I believe he still captures the essence of what it was like back then as well as a captivating story line and characters. Very enjoyable! Well done! Also, great performance from the narrator.

Tip on Military Time
Great writing and narration.
Recommend narration substitute “zero” for “oh” as in Zero Dark Thirty.
That is how I was trained in Infantry OCS in 1966.

Ooh-rah! Battlestations torpedo!
Oh man, this is getting good. This series is really bringing the war to life. I love how the author keeps expanding the world and bringing in new elements to illustrate what our greatest generation went through. Great story, excellent narration... I highly recommend this novel.
