Paul Teutul Jr.
Author Paul Teutul, Jr., is arguably the most creative builder of custom "chopper" motorcycles in the world. His talents were revealed to millions of TV viewers worldwide on American Chopper, as well as later in a spinoff series, American Chopper Senior vs Junior. The Build gives the listener a glimpse at Paul Jr.'s life behind the camera, which included volcanic conflict with his father and business mentor, Paul Sr. Using his own story of improbable success as an illustration, Paul Jr. offers insights on how anyone can find and activate often hidden talents. In a charming, often humorous way, The Build is a rallying cry to unleash your creativity and live life to the fullest.
Includes a bonus PDF featuring photos of Special Builds, Build-Offs, and Family

Reseñas de la Crítica
—Russell Crowe, actor, film producer, musician
“Paul Jr’s book The Build is a must-read. I respect his talent, but mostly I respect how he is living out his faith in the public eye. Paul’s candidness about his father is not to attack but to shine the light of truth on how a son is affected by his father. Thanks for writing this book, Junior!”
—Todd Hoffman, “Gold Rush Todd”
That went on plus very entertaining.

I'm 57 (2025) now, the youngest of seven kids. Alcohol and drugs destroyed my family. I lost every member except for one brother and my mom, she lives with me. Your mom reminds me of my mom, the consistency of love ❤️. You shared how you got real sick when you over drank alcohol. I lost a nephew at the age of 16 from alcohol poisoning. You are blessed to be breathing. Thank God.
I found God when my best friend from high school invited me to church. I felt this overwhelming love and I couldn't understand how God could love such a loser as myself. But, here I am now, I never leave home without my God in front.
My dad passed in 2006. He had stopped drinking but the affects caught up to him, he had a stroke and lasted 5 more months. My dad was a strong believer in God. He and I had that distant relationship as well. He had a hard childhood but wss a hard worker. He would pick cotton with his family of origin and earn $1 a week and his violent father would guilt him his share. My father was abusive toward my older siblings. We were 4 boys, 3 girls, I am the youngest.
In some of the last episodes, I could see how hard you were trying to have a relationship with your dad, that brought tears to my eyes because I know, I can relate.
After my father passed, I would dream about him. He came to me. It may sound weird, but in some strange way, I have a better relationship with my father now than I did when he was alive. And I cherish it. I'm a strong believer in forgiveness. Forgiveness in myself, my father, my family. It's really the only was to grow.
We live in a corrupt world but that doesn't have to define who we are. Love is the greatest weapon to relationships.
Your book, is hands down, beautiful, raw and truthful. So many people are afraid to speak truth. We were raised what happens here, stays here. That means you keep the abuse and violence a secret. My mom always used to say grin and bear it. But I don't agree. I believe we can take our burdens to God. We don't have to do it alone.
Your book, your show, showed me that because I understand the dynamics of dysfunctionality. I understand anxiety, fear, loneliness, grief. All the things my father was experiencing in his life, yet, he was expected to be father of the year in our eyes. If I could go back, I would've mimicked you in one of your scenes, where you walked around the bike you and your dad were working on and I would've hugged my dad and told him I love him, more.
Thank you for sharing your life with the world. You are saving lives and souls with your truth. This is exactly what the world needs more of. God bless you and your family🌹💝🌹
