Love a man that knows what he wants!

Hayes and Maren have the best story to lighten the mood and cause some laughs. These two are fun and light, they're intense and sexy. They had a pull toward each other that I don't even know how they resisted as long they did! I have to say that I am beyond giddy to watch this pack of players all thanked in the heart with a case of feelings! I love that Kendall Ryan started to tease us with the next book in this series. I'm eagerly awaiting Wolf's takedown!

With the narrator unit being Sebastian York and Erin Mallon, The Boyfriend Effect had plausible hit writtfit his sweet, tender voice. It hits all the right spots. Erin Mallon also hit this narration right on the mark. Her voice is like velvet... all soft and luscious!

OK Kendall girl!

This book was great. I love a brother forbidden little sister romance. It was the perfect getaway from this crazy busy life... Sebastian and Erin were phenomenal.. Get this one trust me you'll love it.

The ending

The ending could of been a lot better but overall it was a good story

Frisky Business

I am so excited about the Frisky Business series! Maren and Hayes were a great start! These two are one hot couple. I love a good brother's best friend/sister story and Kendall did not disappoint with these two! Maren is definitely not a meek little sister either, this girl knows what she wants and willing to go after it. The lake scenes were awesome! And Grandma Rosie and Don were so cute too! Another must read! Can't wait for Wolfie's book!

Enjoyable listen but kind of boring…

I love anything Erin Mallon narrates but this was a little boring for me nothing they really grabbed my interest. It was a very easy feel good read tho ☺️🤍

Entertainment gold!

This audiobook is entertainment gold. The way the story is narrated and how Hayes and Maren are brought to life is amazing. I just loved listening and honestly didn’t want it to end. The banter was fantastic and the whole storyline had my attention. Hayes and Maren have sizzling chemistry and their ease of friendship is wonderful. Hayes grandma is such good value too and this story definitely made my heart happy. It was easy to listen to and I would highly recommend it. Will Hayes and Maren get their happily ever after?

Sweet and Steamy Romance!

I absolutely adored this witty, sweet and sexy forbidden romance! Hayes has always had a thing for his business partner and best friend's little sister, but the bro code makes her off limits. They are all good friends and when Maren is having a rough time, Hayes is there for her. He agrees to help her with her work issues, and she offers to help him be a better boyfriend because he goes through girlfriends easily, never staying with one for long. They more time they spend together, the harder it is to deny the chemistry they have always shared. But what will happen to his friendship and business if he can't be a good boyfriend to one woman he has always wanted? I really loved watching the transformation of Hayes and Maren's relationship. It was sweet and romantic, and their fiery chemistry was off the charts!
Narrators, Sebastian York, and Erin Mallon deliver all the emotion, wit, and steam perfectly. York's deep sexy voice makes Hayes even more romantic, fun, and sexy. Mallon is a natural portraying Maren's strength, determination. I really enjoyed both their abilities to bring these characters to life and make me love Hayes and Maren even more.
I loved all the secondary characters who made this romance even more fun and heartwarming.
What a great start to the Frisky Business series, I can't wait for more of this witty, sweet and sexy series!

Good story with great narration

The Boyfriend Effect is the first book in the new Frisky Business series, and it was quintessential Kendall Ryan. The tone and feel of the story was light from start to finish, with very little angst and a whole lot of two people figuring out what it is they truly share together. Maren and Hayes were easily likable as main characters, and we've got them trying to get past their shared tie of Wolfie and that maybe Hayes isn't as terrible of a boyfriend as he believed himself to be. I loved that Maren had some confidence to her, that she knew that what was missing in Hayes's life was someone like her by his side. Or maybe not just any ol' someone who was similar to her, but HER her. There also wasn't a whole lot of unnecessary dragging out of the story and inasmuch as I love my angst, there wasn't drama for the sake of drama here. Sebastian York and Erin Mallon added that extra bit of sizzle with some great narration. In the six hours it took me to listen to this book, I was happily entertained and quite satisfied with the romance, the story, and the cast of characters. Four stars for the story, five stars for the narration, so an average of 4.5 stars for The Boyfriend Effect. ♥
