Processing Grief

Jason did an awesome job of displaying the process of grief that Matt experienced. All to often we don’t consider how children/teens are impacted by loss.
I love how he and Love were able to forge a friendship, be supportive of one another, and teach each other about life after the loss of a love one.
Mr. Ray was just what Matt needed as well. This was a sweet love story that was wrapped in sadness.

Grieving teen learns to cope with moms death

Loved it! the mail character, Matt, is honest, relate able and sometimes laugh out loud funny while he learns to cope with his mom's recent death and newly formed relationships.

Great pairing.

The combination of Jason Reynolds' writing and Corey Allen's narration is perfection. I found this audiobook so enjoyable.

Kids need these type of books to understand death at a young age. Also, it may help boys with relationships

All the feels. Reynolds is a masterful storyteller and this one did. It disappoint. Great narrations as well!

Great Book

I loved this book, but the narrator was like listening to nails on a chalkboard.

Decent enough to pass the time

Decent story touched in several things but didn’t have much conclusion. I guess your to assume on this one.

The beautiful thing about a Jason Reynolds book is that you will always- no matter the book, the characters, the setting- no matter who you are, where you live, how old you are- no matter what you look like, what you do for a living, what your hobbies are... you will always be able to see yourself in his characters.

This book was no different. Please read Jason Reynolds' works. You will not be sorry!
