I’ll listen to anything she narrates and this is great series that only gets better with each book! Great fir fans of secret garden by tana French

I really like this series, but I think this one was the best storyline. I’ll listen to anything narrated by Aoife McMahon.

No question what Jo Spain’s politics are

The story is good but the little political references get annoying. Jo Spain is clearly liberal, which is fine, but not needed for the story and sometimes feels like a stretch to make a point and include her personal opinions on issues vs adding to the story in any way. Especially the little quips about conservatives. Everything is so political now days, I just want to enjoy a story and not make it a social justice thing. I love inspector Reynolds’s and Jo Spain is a great author, but I found myself rolling my eyes multiple times and saying “we get it”
