With most of their better warriors dead in a battle with the Penobscot tribe, the survivors decide to head home across the wide and empty seas. They would risk a battle with King Harald Finehair. The novel follows the two brothers Erik the Navigator and Fótr Larsson as they both do what they must to survive. Erik must learn to live like a Skraeling, and Fótr must fight the enemies of the Clan of the Wolf.
Summoned by Ylva the volva, Fótr is charged with a quest which seems impossible while Erik has to fight Penobscot warriors who are intent on vengeance.

Loved This Series!
All the way to the end I loved this series. The clan of the fox takes on new challenges in their two worlds. Eric the Navigator finds his home in the New World while his younger brother finds the warrior within and follows his destiny home. A great journey into how it might have been for these early explorers. The narration was excellent and I look forward to reading/listening to more from this author (there is plenty more).

Erik the Navigator
As with all European history and historical fiction, this one did not disappoint. Griff did it again. His ability to deliver has become common place and is expected with every series. Marston is Mars0ton being great and there is nothing more to say. The travels, battles and comradery identify with Erik throughout the story very well. With every obstacle, he was able to make his way and keep his clan foremost in his heart and mind. Very good story.
