Inspirational Man

I liked the book and Mr. Carnegie's story. I thought the book was narrated well and it can easily be listened to at a faster pace without losing anything. I do think the book went into to details it did not need but overall it was well written.

A must-read(listen) classic

Andrew not only amounted to be one of the riches persons alive, he then went on to distribute his wealth to uplift the later generations by building ladders. The narration was great as well

He was a true inspiration and left this world a better place!!! I’m so glad I chose this book!

Mandatory reading

A must-read for the contemporary capitalist minded person. The book and the essay are precious sources of socioeconomic wisdom by one of greatest industrial magnates of the Gilded age, who also embodies the American dream.

I loved this book. AC is now a hero to me. I will buy the hard back of both and study his life. Must read.

Unheard words from a good man

I wish more people would listen to Andrew Carnegie's mild yet optimistic view on business and wealth. The book helps define Mr. Carnegie's drive, and the book also shows the ideals he wished for as he built his business. It's a good read but it's sadly dull at points, talking about monotony and personal relations.

First half was good

The first half was good and interesting. However, I decided to start watching the history channel’s “The men who built America” and his representation of himself is not entirely accurate.
What he thinks of himself is much more philanthropic than actual history.

Ages Well

Great book by a brilliant man. The message he gives is ageless. Worth the time to listen to.

A very thorough account of a surprisingly humble man

What a magnate there ever was! Though the thoughts regarding the peacefulness of Kaiser Wilhelm were laughable to say the least!
