Loved the story, left us hanging with the ending. His daughter, this could keeping us guessing for his next book. I hope he answers that.

too descriptive! found myself being lost until he get back to the story line, otherwise great story.

There's Gold in Them There Hills -- and Computers

What happened to all the gold the Japanese hid in bunkers in The Philippines during World War II? And the Nazi gold stashed in banks in Luxembourg that was used to finance covert post-war activities? And the bitcoin locked away in blockchain in who knows where? These questions propel Cotton Malone in The Atlas Maneuver, catalyzed by a chance reunion with an old flame who coincidentally is the person (fictional, not IRL) who invented bitcoin.

I have to admit, despite being a work of fiction, I learned more about bitcoin and blockchain from Steve Berry that I have ever learned before, and I tried to learn about it before but was, as most people are, seriously confused (and I'm a former computer professional, imagine how much more confusing it is to a non-techie). This is one of the few Berry books where the present-day mystery / mcguffin is more interesting than the historical mystery / mcguffin.

Another plus compared to recent Cotton Malone stories is the elevated presence of Cassiopeia Vitt. Even though they pursue separate plot threads, it's refreshing to have her work the mysteries alongside Cotton. Scott Brick's narration is not as much of a distraction as usual, but I just can't give him five stars, I am just so turned off by the sound of his voice even when he performs well.

Action packed with lots of information

I liked the historical content within the story. The author really did his research. The narrator was wonderful as well.

Still do not understand Bitcoin and how it works in the economy of the world’s nations.

The story kept my interest all the way through.

The story kept me. Interest.ed. The action never slowed down. His character building was great.

The Future of Finance??

I have read ir listened to each of Steve Berry’s books. I look forward to each new book. The Atlas Maneuver just might be my favorite. The weaving of actual history with myths and fiction makes each story hard to put down.

Bitcoin rises

Bitcoin gets only moderate attention these days, so it’s nice to get so much detail about how it operates. Novices like me are always curious.

Steve Berry almost always builds his plots around current events but also adds a historical background into them; The Atlas Maneuver is no exception.

And what more can be said about Scott Brick? It’s no wonder more and more authors are engaging his talents.
