The Art of Perfumery by G. W. Septimus Piesse (May 30, 1820 - October 23, 1882) is a landmark work in perfume manufacturing originally published in 1857. He was an authority and innovator of modern perfumes. His recipes and methods are in universal use today. He was the premiere perfumer in London creating numerous special perfumes.

This is the first time this work has been available as an audio book.

Is a good book but the narrator makes it difficult the understanding. He doesn't have the technical and botanical knowledge of perfumery and so the reading turns into babbling. exasperated me. why is somebody who doesn't know how to pronounce names of plants, reading this book?

The person reading, god bless him, took frequent breathes at weird places, was extremely breathy or something I just can’t explain. It drove me nuts and I couldn’t get through the book, unfortunately.
