6 Year Old Loves it

Clearly executed, my 6-year-old child listens to The America every day. I have learned a lot because the book is well written and because I can share it with my child.

Interesting topic. Vivid pictures of early contennential dwellers up through modern times. A great starting point on the subject. Intro canned message says audible kids which I think is a glitch.

Big Picture Perspective

By viewing the entire hemisphere throughout colonialism, racism, religious interference, industrialization, and political ideologies, there is so much to learn about the countries and people that make up the Americas today.
I thoroughly enjoyed learning from this perspective. Also, Felipe Fernàndez-Armesto writes in an easy-to-follow manner, unlike many historians.
