Very good writing

I totally enjoyed the narration and writing. The ending surprised me! I read several of Ms. Williams later books and loved them, too!

These artsy boys!!

I love a tortured soul love connection!!! This book was such a nice mix of two people from “different sides of the tracks.” I finished pretty quickly and I really loved it.

A great production of a great book. Loved the narrator and adored the story. I am fast becoming a huge Tia Willia!ms fan!

Possibly a spoiler

I didn’t like the ending, too obvious. However I did enjoy the story, often times as women we put ourselves last, and you can see how the main character was starting to do that, and you can see how she was becoming engulfed in a sense in the relationship, and I was able to identify with that character because I too have been there. I can relate to slacking off and putting my goals/ambitions on pause because I’m in this new romance. The saying is “ give a man sex , food, and entertainment and his ambitions die” but that saying applies to everyone being comfortable can be a disservice to one’s goals.
Overall I love this author, l will read/listen to anything she produces.

Good read

I downloaded with out reading the preview and it didn’t disappoint! I definitely enjoyed this one!

Solid book

The book it self is good but it seems to have space fillers to me. Like it brings up things that don't seem to be relevant just to reach a page minimum. But overall the book was a good one.

High Fashion..

This book is good the high fashion ppl that love names being dropped in books. It was a nice romance within the book for Jay and Billie.

Great throw back 90s listen

Loved the references to 90's hip hop culture and fashion! Interesting how cultural appropriation was discussed.

Not Good AT ALL

This book was a bunch of name dropping for fashion lables and celebrities and a super childish female lead who was so far out of touch with anything outside of her glass house it was cringe-worthy. I wanted to tap out at least 5 times for a variety of reasons and the only reason I stuck it out was the drama from the past meets the present but even that was extremely lackluster. The narrator was OK.. just OK.

I love the storyline so much the details the Fashion the story about beauty, editor, falling in love very TASTEFUL very cute I can read the story for seven more books. I wanna know more about their love story what happens when they go to London
