Jennifer’s Magnum Opus

I knew it would be wonderful but I had no idea I’d be so moved. The masterful interweaving of scripture, philosophy, poetry, and other art forms with social science and human development was as transcendent as is the subject matter. Listening to it inspired me to create a more mature and deeper love with my spouse so we could together experience the sensual and sacred.

While it is beautiful in its prose, the book is practical and invites deep reflection—even compelling the reader or listener to self confront at the most profound levels. This book promotes a soul-work that will leave one exhausted and at the same time breathless and hopeful.

For Latter-day Saints like myself, Jennifer’s writing is anchored in the truths of the gospel or as she calls it, “our revealed religion.” Her use of scripture and the words of prophets was appropriate and illuminated the plan of salvation through the lens of the embodied, sexual beings we all are and have the potential to become.
