Epic emotional rollercoaster ride of second chance
Thad and Emerson will take you on a epic emotional rollercoaster. Turns out Thad has some petty good reasons to be grumpy and fireworks go off when Emerson appears in the team's mission after years. He may not trust her but he'll protect her as her mysteries unravel. But lucky for them, since neither got over the other, they find their way down, an albeit bumpy path, to that happy together they always wanted. Plenty of action, danger, and edge of your seat suspense to keep you enthralled, and terrific narration to bring it to life.

Good but not great…
This book was good. I just can’t get over the idea of 10 years gap away from each other with it 8 years being a vigilante and not getting caught was just unrealistic, and yes it’s fiction but I love her books because you can get caught up with the story and feel everything they endure in life may it be heartaches and happiness. I still find it as a good read/listen. I just found this one kinda meehh compared to her other books that had years and years away from each other before getting their second chance for HEA.
