Acerca de esta escucha

Declan Crenshaw went from orphan, to Special Forces soldier, to the CIA’s golden child. Life was perfect—almost. He shouldn’t have pushed his luck and simply enjoyed the bounty fate had given him—a beautiful wife, sweet baby girl, and more love than he ever dreamed he’d know. Until a threat he never saw coming obliterated his world. His wife and child murdered. His soul shattered, he was left hollow. With his morality stripped away, he became the perfect black-ops mercenary—soulless.

Autumn Pierce had been normal, happy, average. Until she was kidnapped and sold into the world of sex trafficking. Even rescued, she was forever changed. Gone was the smiling teenager and in her place emerged a woman hell-bent on revenge. Years later, Autumn remains a deadly mercenary in a never-ending game of chess. It’s kill or be killed—which isn’t an issue for a woman who’s already dead inside.

With pasts that mirror each other’s, Declan and Autumn have more than defeating a common enemy on the line. Two broken souls with one last chance to be whole.

I loved the story. It wove all the history of the characters in and didn’t leave you hanging. I love an HEA.

An emotional roller coaster ride. Tragic events that lead to two destroyed, painful lives. Misery finds comfort and solace in another broken soul. Who better to put back the pieces of a broken soul than another broken soul. Declan and Autumn’s story of healing, love and life after tragedy is the perfect final book of the Gold Team.
Great job narrators!

This story is not a beautiful one. It is not sweet, not soft, and not full of swoon. It is beautiful, it is heartbreaking, it is gritty, but it is real. Riley Edwards wrote the most beautifully heartbreaking broken love story that I have ever read. Declan and Autumn both have jagged edges and broken pieces that nobody could love. There is so much pain hiding behind the walls they both have put up, but chapter by chapter you can actually feel them starting to heal. I love this story. Did it hurt at times? Yes. Did I want to throw my phone at times? Yes. Would I change one thing about it? Absolutely not!!! Lee Samuels really brought the pain and the heartbreak to the surface. What an amazing performance. Maxine Mitchell, well what is there ti say about her? Maxine is a performer, she always brings it, and she more than brought the pain, the heartache, the need, and finally, the healing. This book was a beautiful end to an amazing series!!!!

My favorite book from the gold team. Declan's journey wasn't easy and brought on all the feels. Happiness, sadness, anger, pain, and hope. I loved the conclusion on Declan's journey and the healing and hope he found.

Wow. I'm honestly struggling for words to write. This book hit me in the heart profoundly, for many reasons... Declan is someone I wanted to get his HEA since meeting and I eagerly anticipated it, then Autumn came on scene and I also wanted her to get a happy ending after all the pain. Riley brings you an AMAZING, heartfelt, heartbreaking, and heart mending journey of two broken souls creating a beautiful whole. As she brings an end to the Gold Team series in a terrific way, I was left bereft is was over. I know we'll see more of the characters in Blue Team, but I'm still sad to see it end even as it was bittersweet. Amazing narration of course brought the emotions that much more amongst the danger, mystery, twist and turns, action and suspense.

AMAZING heartfelt, heartbreaking, heart mending
