Iffy start

There are promising bits and cringe bits intermingled throughout this book.

Female narrator is good. Male narrators voice is unappealing.

Storyline had potential to be fun and interesting but the dialog is immature and does not seem to match character age.

The mental whining is cringe-worthy and is repeated too often in exactly the same words and tone. I started skipping through those parts as it does not add but actually takes away from the story.

No sure I would continue this new series.
