Resumen del Editor

New from the author of the WildBlue Press classics The Trail of Ted Bundy and The Bundy Secrets!

Ted Bundy’s Murderous Mysteries is a deep-dive into the archival record of the America’s most notorious serial killer. It’s a veritable goldmine of information on Bundy, his victims, and this very voluminous case.

Written by the foremost authority on Ted Bundy, this latest examination of this brutal serial killer contains new, revealing, and never-before-published interviews with those close to Bundy, close to his victims, and a potential victim who barely escaped his clutches.

Ted Bundy’s Murderous Mysteries brings to light for the first time many heretofore passed-over facts about Bundy and reveals previously hidden aspects of the lives of some of his victims.

Please find a new narrator

I have read just about every book there is about Ted Bundy and this one doesn't disappoint as far as content goes. However, the narrator chosen for this book was a bad one. Mispronunciation is one of my pet peeves and the narrator of this book seems to mispronounce every other word. To nutshell it, content is very good; narration is very bad. I have nothing negative to say about the content of the book.

just ok

couldn't hold my interest, too much reference to his first book there was a reminder that he wrote another book at least once every chapter or maybe it just felt that way

Worst narrator ever

I’ve heard bad narrators but this was the worst. I tried to ignore it and focus on the story but it got so annoying. I could have gotten through this book in a day but I had to put it down occasionally because I was irritated. Lake “samamich”. Good lord

WHO READ THIS

I'm usually pretty tolerant of less than ideal narrators, but this guy takes the cake. Sentences are so overemphasized, overdramatized, the cadence so choppy that it was often difficult to take the narration seriously. I'd go so far as to day it felt wildly inappropriate at times for such a serious subject matter. And then the mispronounciation comes into play with things that could be easily looked up like the Greek alphabet and Lake Sammamish. I considered returning the purchase but I didn't want to negatively impact the author.

If you listened to the previous three books I'd switch to print for this one and come back to the audio afterward.

Kevin Sullivan is the perfect biographer

Kevin is a very good author. He does such a good job on his Bundy series I see why he just couldn't stop at 3. And I'm glad he didn't. I had a chance to actually talk thru messenger with Kevin because I had a question about one of his claims about what Bundy did in one of his books and he was so nice he actually answered my questions and cleared up some of my confusion. He is a really nice guy and great author. This book is so detailed and accurate. I've read every Bundy book out there but I prefer All of Kevinx, he not only has complete information but also information that is not in any other book. He refers back to all his other books which gets slightly annoying but if u can just get past that then it's fine. All of his books in print as well as audio are reasonably priced and u won't be disappointed in any of them. The narrator could have been a little better but its not that big of a deal.

Ted Bundy

Interesting read and descriptive. The format was easy to follow while it was being read.

Fourth in Sullivan's Bundy Series

This fourth volume in Kevin Sullivan's series on the Ted Bundy case presents many interesting documents from the vast case files, such as police interviews with witnesses and various reports between police jurisdictions. Perhaps especially valuable here is how much more insight and information regarding the lives and personalities of Bundy's victims this volume provides in comparison not only to Sullivan's previous volumes but also all other well known literature on the case. My chief disappointment is that the narrator for this volume is not Kevin Pierce, as in the previous three. I have purchased several audible books simply because Kevin Pierce is the narrator; he is, imo, second to none. Here, however, Jeffrey Hering delivers an adequate but often distracting performance, primarily because of several habitual mispronunciations. His rendering of "Sammamish" drove me nuts, and his unvarying pronunciation of "Chi" (the Greek letter in Chi Omega) as "Chai" (like the tea) literally evoked crabby yells from me every time I heard it. I wish audible.com would exercise greater oversight of pronunciation on the part of its narrators.

Very little new information

There are some interesting police transcripts and interviews revealed for the first time in this book. The problem is very little of it provides any useful information or insight into Ted Bundy. What drives me crazy is the amount of redundancy and references to his previous TB books. Just try and count how many times he references himself. If you were to edit out everything related to him + his previous books it'd be 1/2 as long.

1- Ann Rule - Stranger Besides Me
2- Stephen Michaud - Conversations with a Killer

Excellent book - except for constant mispronunciations

Another excellent book by Kevin M. Sullivan, one of the best of the Ted Bundy authors.

My only problem is the narrator’s constant mispronunciations. For example, Lake Sammamish is pronounced “Sa-MAMM-ish” not “Sam-a-mish”. The “Chi” in “Chi Omega” is pronounced “Kai” (like the YouTube show “Cobra Kai”) not “Chai” (like “Chai tea”).

Other than that, good work once again.
