The laugh is so annoying

I have read all the books in this series. I like them. But in this audio, the laugh was really unpleasant. It was the same from the evil psychopath as from a husband.
It creeped me out and really ruined the story for me. Please make some changes. Otherwise, the story was really good!

great story

Another gripping tale from DK Hood. I enjoy all the characters & keeping up with them throughout the series.
I actually like the narrator very much, except that the laugh is creepy.

I love this series

.I love how the story line continues to evolve while including characters following their lives along side the main story line.

felt like I was there

The narrator and the story line made you feel like you were There in Colorado Watching the scenes unfold. Great storyline And Kept me in suspense.

DK does a great job of telling an interesting story. we love thr characters.

Patricia is the ONLY voice for this series. I love Beth Katz, but without Patricia it is a slight notch down. although I wouldn't change a thing in either series.

review:
this book is a little different than some of DKs. we know the characters by now. we do get short bios of characters but just the right amount. the killers in this book are not a guessing game from the start. it's more of "what really happened" DK just brought a fresh point of view.

Suspenseful!

I love Jenna and Dave. the audible often makes the books more exciting especially as I do chores. I find I have to stop when it gets really exciting to listen carefully afraid I will miss a clue of some kind. I love this series and love the narrator! Bravo!

Great storyline

Wonderful characters with a storyline that kept my attention. I enjoy the way the characters continue to evolve with each new book.

More like a fiction story

I don't think the novelist did any research on anything she's written. This whole series is more like a fiction story. With Kane being 6'5" 260 lb cyber killer/ sniper/special forces/ helicopter pilot/ secret service/ ect. And he's only 36??? Come on. Give us a break. You would think this town would have a homicide unit by now. The sheriff's office takes care of everything. But they make so many mistakes. You should really read crime stories so you would understand how it works. Jenna just writes on a blank piece of paper of someone's confession. And that should work?? lol. And let's talk about this truck. The beast. bulletproof bomb proof but the windows go down? Not possible. What really has me rolling was when Kane told Jenna he was a 10 lb baby and he didn't fit in the hospital crib. 😂. I really like the story. I just wish it was more realistic.

Where is the Suspense?

Where was the suspense in this book? We knew it was one of the college boys from the beginning. Which one didn't make any difference whatsoever. Seriously.

Also, I'm not sure which is more cringe: the narrator doing laughter (which sounds like something a cheap animatronic would use for Santa, regardless of whether it's a male or female laughing) or the kid's voice. Good gracious. With this narrator I'm grateful he doesn't have much dialogue. Also, what's up with pronouncing produce like PROD-uce? Heavens!
