Virtual Voice was horible

DNF at chapter 5. I could have stuck it out but the Virtual Voice was atrocious. You dont get any of the inflection, tone, or emotions as an actual narrator. It was also har to tell where sentences/paragraphs began or ended. Map Navigation apps do a better job.

The premise is good but the writing and characters are lacking. The writing feels a little immature for the content. With their life skills/knowledge it felt like the FMC was living in current times and the MMC was from historical times. How does a 30ish year old not know how to cook eggs? Or rinse off a wound?
