The Alpha’s Bullied Omega (Alaska Alpha Wolves Book 3) ~~ I read The Alpha’s Bullied Omega on Kindle and listened on Audible, and this one might be the most emotionally intense book in the series so far.
The story focuses on Rissa, an Omega who has spent years being bullied and looked down on within her pack. Many people believe she’s weak and powerless, but there’s more to her story than anyone realizes. When she is forced into a marriage with Brooks, the Alpha who has been one of her biggest tormentors, the situation becomes explosive.
Brooks is definitely a complicated character. At first he really does come across as the classic Alpha bully — dominant, cold, and dismissive of Rissa. But as their forced marriage progresses, you start seeing the cracks in his tough exterior. The truth about Rissa’s past and her hidden strengths slowly begins to change how he sees her.
What I liked about this book is that Rissa isn’t just a victim. As the story develops, her character becomes stronger and more confident, especially when she begins discovering abilities within herself that even she didn’t realize she had.
The Kindle version made it easy to keep turning the pages because the tension between Rissa and Brooks never really lets up. The Audible narration did a great job bringing out Brooks’s gruff Alpha personality and the emotional vulnerability that slowly starts to surface.
By the end of the book, their relationship has transformed in ways I didn’t expect when the story first began. It was definitely a satisfying enemies-to-lovers progression.
I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.
