Highly entertaining

Very well written . Not only did Trip and Jamie provide a very enjoyable experience with their story and their characters but the other characters were great as well. All of the characters provided a story that held not only drama but comedy and kept the storyline interesting. This book had a diversity that was amazing and kept this listener captivated throughout the book. So bravo to the author for giving at least me such a wonderful experience.

I like it when things get in order and the ending i good, I like the drama in the middle to spice things up.

Nice Story, but Narration wasn't Good

so I heard that Take a Chance, Take My Hand, and Take your Time are all Pine Cone Romance books with the same characters but 3 different authors. this sounded interesting and I knew 2 of the authors already... this is the first of the series that I read/listened to. I enjoyed the story and the small town feel, but AJ Ferraro ruined it for me. I just dont like her voice on any book I've heard her narrate. she made Trip sound like a cocky 18 year old Steven Universe. not at all sexy. I'm going to read the other two in the series by the other authors focussing on the other characters from take a chance. too bad AJ Ferraro voices this whole series. :(

Second Chance Romance

Really enjoyed this book. A diverse cast of characters with young, adult and older lesbians Veternarian Trip Beaumont is happy in her small town and taking care of the big and small animals in Pine Cone, GA. Officer Jamie Grant is a veteran with PTSD. With her canine drug partner she’s looking for a peaceful life. Their history from college has broken both their hearts and a collision course between former best friends is inevitable. Erotic romance and quirky characters with lots of Southern humor. Recommend.

I did not finish. Narrator was horrible. Obviously I won't be purchasing any more from this series.

sorry but awful narrator couldn't get pass chapter 2. very drsp, like she was reading a newspaper. No emotion.
