So far this series is great. Narration is amazing. Love Hadley and Cole. He is brute but you can’t help but feel for him. Although it ends on a cliff hanger but worth it can’t wait to see the end.

SERIES IS A GREAT READ

Love in many different ways in this series!! Love the stories and love the narrators voices.

WOW!! Not my high school experience

It's a very dark high schoolwith intense sex scenes with over sex educated kids. VERY slow story.the male narrator did a great job, but the female narrator sounded like an old & confused electronic Alexa, who sounded much older than a 18 year old senior. I found myself skipping chapters to avoid her narration. Reading the story is probably better than listening. She totally ruined it.

Loved this story!

The 5 stars on performance is all for Teddy! I'll listen to anything he narrates but Aletha's breath at the end of every sentence is irritating as hell! Love the story, lots of twists and turns!

Dark, spicy and leaves you hanging

This is definitely a dark romance with tons of questions and a crazy heat and intensity level. Cole’s thoughts and actions fit him and his past, but I struggled to understand Hadley with not getting her whole story or at least a little more of it. There’s definitely something missing I’m sure we’ll find out in book two, but it makes it harder to love her as much as I wanted since she’s mostly the complete opposite of how we saw her in the first two books. Although I understand hiding behind a mask, I wanted more in her thoughts. The story is definitely intriguing and keeps you wanting to know more. I didn’t want to stop reading. But with too many holes right now, I couldn’t give it a five. But I’m already jumping in to the next one, ready for more.

I loved it!! It is a little darker and mysterious than the first two and I loved it! Cole is super hot and I love Hadley, she is a mystery in herself that you aren’t expecting! The cliff hanger at the end is a good one! I’m definitely getting the next one! These would make a super good mini series or something 😍

Cole and Hadley both have a darkness inside themselves that calls to the other and I am here for it. I can't wait to see how their story ends.

I love everything Teddy narrates. I did not care for Aletha at all. I thought she sounded whiny most of the time, rather than a mature-beyond-her-years adult.

I thought Ace and Remy were my favorite until I read Cole and Hadley’s duet books. I love them they are definitely my favorite. I’ve read this series multiple times.

Even Darker

Cole is even darker than Ace. And I am here for it. His and Hadley’s relationship is completely toxic. In real life, I would be horrified, but in a book? I love it. The chemistry between them is so explosive. I am liking the story too. It’s page-turning and keeps me interested. So far I have more questions than answers, though. Both main characters are hiding big secrets. And I want to know them all. It ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t help but be frustrated with Cole for being so nonchalant about the danger leading up to it. I’m looking forward to answers and seeing how things play out. And I’m also curious what Hadley and Cole’s relationship will look like once they stop fighting their feelings.
