Good Read/listen

love Scar and how powerful she is just like Ryan. I liked all the characters they all even each other out. The story did fit with the first book. Was a good read/listen love the narrators. I did feel the end was rushed out a bit. Would have liked to see Scar torture Enzo he deserved it especially cuz how he left her. Loved how Scar met all the guys had me laughing how she tied Caleb lol.

Thrilling Series

Holy hotness this series is phenomenal! We meet Scarlet in the first book, and when we get to her story here it felt like a different character. Really she was being built into what we see in book 1 and the storylines run parallel to each other. This book has some incredibly hot sex scenes (some serious dirty talk and some fun threesomes - there are 3 male leads and they like to share), but there’s a good buildup and the storyline continuously moves forward. I feel like this would have made a great first book in the series - but only because I prefer when the second story continues the timeline rather than mirror the first books. Narration is great!

Loved every second of this!

Marie really said I only write bad beezys, period! When she released this book 💁🏻‍♀️ And Scar? Absolute ICON status as an FMC! She handles business like no one else. This is the ultimate mafia/mob story, weaving in Italian, Irish, Russian, and Japanese families in NY with a dash of Mexican cartel action, thanks to a cameo from our favorite brujita, Ryan! ❤️

I loved that this is a why choose story where all of Scar’s men are protectors at heart, but never dim her shine or power. So many moments had me giggling like a schoolgirl especially that video production scene (IYKYK 😉), and who doesn’t love a man who can throw down in the kitchen?!

Hands down, this is one of my favorite series of the year so far! 😍

Marie can’t miss

This was soo good to hear Scar’s story. Marie knows how to write bad bxtches! Ugh I love the toxic paradise series. This story was the perfect why choose story and if I’m being honest the first why choose story I actually enjoyed reading.

I listened all day if I could. Hot, steamy, bloodthirsty, HILARIOUS!! So good, I loved this book. The narrators added to the whole thing, adding personality to the characters. I love a stabby FMC.
