That's it?

This isn't really a book. It is more like a pamphlet. This entire book takes only 57 minutes to read and 5 minutes of that is instructions for knitting something. What little there was, I liked.

When your life is threatened, you start focusing on what is really important and what you want to do with your remaining time. Alice's list isn't unusual. I do wish she had talked about her diagnosis and treatment, After reading her "book", I still don't know her story.

Beauty within brevity…

This book is for survivors what Strunk and White's masterpiece is for writers. Read it, perhaps read it more than just three times. Digest. Read it again. Take some notes, then make some plans. Live.

Roses will bloom..Touching and uplifting

My mother passed suddenly and this book was like listening to a loving aunt. I found so much comfort in her words and wisdom.

Don’t want to lead with…

didn’t care for the narrator. But I didn’t care for her. Maybe for a romance or sweet children’s book…not this. I’d given the book to a friend. Was glad for the chance to listen to what she read. I may copy the brownie recipe.

Needed this book

So moving, honest and compassionate. Alice Hoffman is by far one of my favorite writers.
