Inspiring!

I love to hear Patrick’s teaching and insights. This book is a great jumping off point to embracing our authority and working in God’s Kingdom on earth - or encouragement for those in the midst of their journey.
Having heard Patrick speak many times, I’m used to his passion and exuberance. It was weird to hear his voice free of emotion and simply reading as though this was a textbook. However, I do understand his desire to narrate the audiobook this way.

The Book Every Catholic Needs to Read

This book has blessed me tremendously, I am currently on my second read, and I am convinced that this book is prophetic in the sense that the testimonies of supernatural ministry will be further released and manifested throughout the Catholic Church in an incredibly widespread manner as this book is further read and listened to.

I believe this book will bridge a key gap for many Catholics, demonstrating how apparently new and possibly ‘suspicious’ manifestations and ways of operating in the Holy Spirit are actually not new at all, but are thoroughly present in the lives of the Saints highlighted. For example, I didn’t know St. Philip Neri was continually manifesting the presence of the Holy Spirit as he prayed with people with shaking and trembling hands, how he healed with words of command, and saw people he prayed for ‘rest in the spirit.’

This book allows every Catholic who desires to live a Spirit-filled life of power and love to breathe a sigh of relief, being able to rest assured, that they are in good company, the company of Saints, and yes, are still Catholic. Come Holy Spirit!

Wonderful, Insightful, Practical

Some of these saints, I had never heard of. Others, though I had heard of them, I did not know these particular stories. The author makes sure to include testimonies of application of the principals learned and practical encouragement to the reader to do the same. As a new Catholic, I am so blessed to know the richness of His operation is at work through His Church today as well.

Radical renews your mind

I read this book for year one, first quarter of encounter school of ministry (identity and transformation), and it supplemented the teachings in the 1st quarter beautifully. It reinforced what I learned and radically renewed my mind as a Catholic disciple of Jesus. This book gave me a newfound love for the saints and opened my mind to the fact that I too can be a saint and demonstrate the love of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. All you holy saints, pray for us! Thank you God for this transformative book!

Come Holy Spirit!

I'm so glad I listened to and read this as a part of doing the Encounter School of Ministry. I loved learning more about St. Vincent Ferrer, St. Philip Neei, St. Catherine of Sienna, St. Francis Xavier, St. Padre Pio, and St. Seraphim. Pray for us!
