It takes hours to locate the wreckage, but miraculously, Meg and Hawk find half a dozen passengers and crew still alive. The hijacker also survived, and has fled into the wilderness with the CEO’s son in pursuit.

As soon as day breaks, the K-9 teams set out to find both men, and the dogs quickly pick up a scent trail. Meg has used her connections with an investigative reporter to learn as much as she can about the hijacker, hoping to use it when they apprehend him. But first, they must contend with the mountain’s savage fury, and an adversary who will destroy as many lives as possible rather than face justice …

Too much Detail

I’ve enjoyed this K-9 series. This one bogged down with too much detail. Like the mountains they climbed it was an effort to get to the top.

Couldn’t wait til the end of the book

I love this series and will read every single one. However the change in narrators has been disappointing. While I understand sometimes things happen and changes need to be made, I do wish someone closer to Angela Dawe’s communication style was chosen. The voices pretty much all sound the same now and there are pauses and inflections that are awkward. That said, I do love Sara Driscoll and this entire series and am looking forward, already, to when the next one comes out!!

Love how the author makes me get so attached to the core characters-human and canine!

Absolutely thrilling and exciting right from the start! This book will leave you on your edge of your seat unable to put it down, neglecting all other duties. Heart-stopping action that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat holding your breath daring to see what will come next. Outstanding! All 4 paws up!

Wonderful Sara Driscoll story

Loved this continuation of Meg and Hawk's adventures. Loved the story, the setting, the hiking term explainations and the other repeat characters, especially Lacy and her handler. Hipe there will be a book 10.

I love the subject & characters of this series. The research & attention to detail is amazing! The narrator is great also. I can't wait until the next one!

I missed the other usual characters in this series.

I have read all her (their) other stories multiple times. I really enjoy them.
This story’s cast is so limited.
I enjoyed the book but not as much as the earlier ones.
I do enjoy the details of whatever Meg and Hawk experience. I know many reader’s don’t. I’m listening now for the second time to see if I feel any different about it.
I loved the ending. I was hoping for it. Don’t want to spoil it.
I hope the series is continued.

Another great FBI canine story! I learned more about rockclimbing than I ever thought I would know, only bad part was they spent most of the time chasing the bad guy and then it just stopped

I throughly enjoy all of Ms Driscoll’s books. They are an always a read. This newest book showed up and is fantastic

I liked the stories and characters it was fun in to listen too. There was a lot of information on climbing etc.
