Enjoyable

I bought this book purely because it was on sale but I think I will look for this author again because it was a very quick easy read that was enjoyable.

Summer In Napa

I love this series! This one is a friends to lovers even though Marc is more Lexi's ex-husband's best friend but he was her friend and wanted to be her everything in high school until Jeff (her ex) became hers. When her husband cheated on her and she divorced him, he really did a number on her and cheated her on more than just her marriage. Lexi has come home to St. Helena and wants nothing more than to turn her grandma's bakery into a bistro. Those grannies have signed her up for a series of dates, oh joy! and she cannot say no. This story is not only cute but add in Marc and it gets steamy too. Again, I am loving this series and cannot wait to see what happens next!

Title should be St. Helena Showdown

Really enjoyed this book, although wasn't quite found of the voice reading it at first. Started listening several different times before I got truly interested in the story. Lived in Napa for 9 years and thought it would be more a Napa story, than St. Helena. But, I have to say I hope the author follows up with a continuation with Lexi getting her Bistro.

Why Napa? It took place in St Helena.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

At times I was really confused as to what the story line was trying to say? Maybe will figure it out on a return read. There were some really sweet moments that made up for my sometimes confusion. Also a couple off right out loud laughs. Would I listen to it again? Yes.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Summer in Napa?

All of the moments that included the dog were memorable. Loved Wing Man.

Which scene was your favorite?

The final scene was my favorite, but I don't want to give it away.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was particularly moved by the confrontation toward the end when they were in the bakery.
Truly heart-breaking.

I enjoyed this book enough to check out what else Audible had by this author.

Great audio

What did you love best about Summer in Napa?

I purchased both the book and the whisper sync audio for this one. I like series when each book stands alone. I love the story, the characters, the ending and the audio narrator. Checking out more books in this series.

What about Renee Raudman’s performance did you like?

I really enjoyed her narrative.

Marco and Lexi's story is pretty good! I enjoyed this book and getting to know the rest of the characters. Love the Granny's! They are a hoot!

No, the story was cute.

I felt sorry for Lexi, everything was taken away from her.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Yes, the narrator voice was awful. The men sounded too old.
