Story holds your interest

RJ Scott creates interesting and compelling settings and characters. Like a lot of these gay MM romances, tend to be very repetitive in terms of telling the reader the same information over and over.

The same, but different

This story follows a pattern many of these romances share. But these characters are so loveable. This is the second book I’ve read in this series, book 1 and 2, and I’ve loved them both, straight to the heart.

Beautiful story

Beautifully written story. The story-line maintained consistency, and the depth of the characters was compelling.

Good story. Good narration.

This story builds a little on the previous book, but it can be read as a standalone. The romance was a nice balance of steamy and "getting to know you". The romantic tension in the story was nicely built. I didn't quite buy into Quin's need to keep secrets, but that might just be my personal preference for being straightforward. I was also puzzled about some characters in the first book who didn't show in this one. I feel like I missed something.

Overall an entertaining read with a well performed narration.

Good story… ending felt rushed

I liked the story a lot, but everything wraps up quickly in the end. I would have liked to see more of their lives after the conflicts were resolved.

The story is worth a listen.

Okay. I really enjoyed the author taking on gay stereotypes in the bedroom. Bottom shaming is a common occurrence. Like the first book, everything is rapidly wrapped up in the last 3 chapters of the book. Kind of left with “that’s all I get” ending. But, it’s a free listen. Give it a try.
