Hilarious, steamy, and sooooo relatable to us 40s moms with preteen kids!

Though her humor tends to be a bit on the crude side, it's so spot on and relatable I can't help but laugh! 😂 I love that this author writes about us middle-aged moms getting to have sexy adventures!!!! I get so tired of reading about college age or even early 20s aged protagonists that I just don't have anything in common with, anymore! there are only 2 decently descriptive steamy scenes in the book, but I'm hoping the next book has many more! I love her humor, and I love how she writes about life in a completely realistic and straightforward way, even though this is a fantasy genre novel. I also love how accurately she writes about having an autistic special needs son, as I have two and I can relate so hardcore to her struggles and love for her kid. I only recently discovered Tara West, but I'm definitely going to be searching out more of her novels. This is her third series I've read, and I've enjoyed them all! The narrator it's not my favorite, but I've listened to her in many other series and she always does a decent job. overall, I definitely recommend this book!
