Best book on the topic of suffering I’ve ever heard. Mr Tripp covers ever facet of the topic with respect for people & honor for Gods Word. And the format is perfect for small groups with discussion questions at the end of each chapter.

This wonderful book contains everything you need to hear when going through suffering. The author gives back strength, courage and hope by speaking gentle truth about God and His purposes in your suffering. You are not alone or forgotten. So helpful!

Like meeting with a wise and kind mentor

You can tell that the author has bathed in the Grace of God like only someone who has seen much sorrow can. His tenor is warm and kind, humble and patient but completely unafraid to tell it like it is. He speaks directly and frankly about sin without any hint of condemnation and every sentence points to Christ.

TRIPP HITS IT - DEAD ON EVERY TIME!

I recently restored my lost soul! One of my favorite daily devotional books by Dr. Paul David Tripp REALLY launched my dead soul. My story and new found journey/identity finds a lot of wisdom and guidance through ALL of his books. Each time I finish (and lucky me I still have a lot more to read), he reveals more and more layers, of which I thought I had control over, and it helps me restore WHO I AM, WHO I WAS, and WHO I WANT TO BE, and it is so magnificent!

Dr. Tripp has a a mysterious balance of good and evil series of developments, his or others, with one end result, GOD!

I love his style and his life lessons regarding our Heavenly Father. Through Jesus Christ, especially if you are a "go back to the beginning" and start over kind-a-newbie like me!

Great read

Very helpful for someone who is Christian and going through difficult circumstances. I would highly recommend it
