Dark, Smart, and Unsettling

I went into this expecting a fast thriller and ended up with something much heavier. The story stayed in my head long after I put it down. I liked how tense and cerebral it felt, especially watching the main character question every alliance and motive. It’s intense without being flashy, and I found myself reading faster as the clock kept ticking.
