Incredible work
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I believe that it is as good as any other novel she has written. It thoroughly captures the evil of slavery using a very powerful story.

An early work worth the listen
This is one of Patricia Brigg's earlier works, and it shows in some parts. Overall though I liked this story, and would like to see more stories from Sianim.

Surprisingly Good!
My expectations were not high since the characters were different. How could this be as good as the last? It exceeded my expectations and I couldn't put it down. So many twists and turns in the story kept me guessing as to what would happen. The narrator's performance was great!

Good book
Was a bit disappointed that aralorns story was not continued but it was not a bad book... audible said aralorn the the character area so I was disappointed when it was not.

A favorite author, what else is there to say?
Great story, good narrator performance. I've read and listened this book multiple times. Even when I know the story line, I can't stop listening. Wish there were sequels so I could hear more about the main characters.

Dreamy voice.
I enjoyed the narrator's dreamy voice with this story. It's exactly how I would expect Rialla's voice to sound like. The characters were distinctive from each other and she spoke in a consistently controlled cadence that was easy to listen to and understand.

Excellent series.
As stated above an excellent series, also a great stand alone story.
Jennifer Bradshaw again another great job as narrator.
