Tackling Life's Curveballs

A wonderful tale! Ginger and Jonathon's story hit me straight in the heart, with a gut punch thrown in for good measure. This is a story about love, loss, and a new found love for both characters. Together, they mend each others hearts and souls. It's sweet and poignant.

Things weren't as idyllic as they seemed for Rusty and Ginger, something Ginger realizes after his passing. The revelations come from different events, including the hot chemistry that is experienced at the hands of a new partner.

I loved how Daisy took to Jonathon in a heartbeat, making it obvious that there was something special to be appreciated about him. 💚🤗

This is the second book in the series and could be read as a standalone. There are references and frequent appearances of the main characters from the first book, Emeline and Thomas "Cappy", here but it is all explained so you will feel right at home.

I received an author copy of the audio book. As with the first book, the author is the narrator. Kelly goes a really good job but l would have preferred to have a male lend vocals to the story, too. This will always be my "complaint" with single narrator books and multiple POVs. 😊 What can I say?
I've been spoiled and have become greedy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Stars Fall From the Sky is the second book in the Reigning Hearts series by K.G. Fletcher. K.G is one of my go to authors and this book is one of her best. This book could be read/listened to as a stand-alone, but I highly recommend that you read this series in order. Both books are fantastic and you will get more of the storyline and character backgrounds if you read/listen to Run to the Sea first. This is Ginger’s story and it is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. This book flowed well and had me hooked from the very beginning.
This book is narrated by Kelly Genelle Fletcher who also did the first book. I love her voice. She really brings the characters to life. I believe this narration is better than the first one.
Overall this is a great book, series and author. I look forward to read/listening to the rest of this series.

Two broken hearts, ripped apart by grief from losing their loved ones. They come together and help each other cope with their loss..... and more.

K.G. Fletcher does it again with this heartwrenching romance, it gave me all the feels and I couldn't stop listening. The storyline was amazing and these characters where even better then the first book in the series.
The narration was again great, I'm really happy that the same narrator was used.

Ps. the little twist mmmmm.......

A definite favorite!!!

This is my 2nd AUDIObook by this author, I've read the ebook and just like the first one I had to have the audio because it is told in this author's own voice and I fell in love all over again with this book. Most of this review is a copy from my ebook review because the feelings are the same after settling in and listening to it being read to me.

This story grabbed me from page 1...squeezed the ever loving life out of me...destroyed me ...blew life back in to me, knocked me back down again, and then picked me back up...I ugly cried more than once, well more than twice actually and felt completely worn out. I’ve read I think all of this author's books. I've loved every one of them and will read them all again at some point, but this one even though the second in a series stands within my top favorites of all time.

Ginger and Jonathon brought out every emotion I didn’t know I had. This story was written so beautifully and felt so real. I swear I feel like I stepped back out of Sandersville Beach after reading the last page. I loved Ginger in Emmy and Cappy’s book and love her even more now. Speaking of which, it was so completely awesome being back with Emmy and Thomas again as well..I loved their story and it was nice to be a part of their continuing journey. I love this town and I love the people in it...I want to move there!

I want so bad to get into more details of the story itself but I don’t trust myself to do that without giving away things I shouldn't be so will end here and leave you with...these books are a must read and now a must listen, there’s too much in the first book to skip it so I don’t recommend that. I'm so hoping she decides to narrate Fiona’s story as well.

Grab the books or the audios or both..I swear reading them first makes them like a favorite movie, then watching that favorite movie again this time in her voice and anticipating some of my favorite parts and how she handles them. I just LOVE it beyond words!

This is book 2 in the reigning hearts series, and I have read book 1. I am all about reading them in order, but you don’t have to in order to enjoy this story. I’m going to be honest with this book. When I read the e-book for Book 1, it was amazing and i couldn’t put it down. I started this book and the first 3 chapters broke my heart. I didn’t finish it. When I saw it was out on Audiobook, I decided to just go for it. The narrator was amazing and did the story such justice. I cried a lot during this book, but also got my happy ending as well. It was a great book and I’m mad I didn’t finish it sooner.

Book 2 of The Reigning Hearts series. This can be read as a stand alone. If you've read book 1 then you'll know Emeline and Thomas. KG Fletcher is amazing and I can't wait for the next one.


Ginger works with Emeline and has been invited to their wedding. After losing her husband she isn't sure what to do. The quote I chose for Ginger is: "I'm fine right here. What is it? What's going on?"


Jonathon is a doctor and loves his work. Losing his wife due to cancer things go downhill. A Grief meeting leading to him and Ginger meeting again. The quote I chose for Jonathon is: "We made it."


Highly recommended for romance lovers.

This is book 2 in Fletchers Reigning Hearts series and can be read/listened as a stand alone but I think is better if read in order. Our main characters in this read is Ginger and Jonathan. A book full of heartache, grief, growth, hope and love. A beautiful romance about second chances and forever loves.

Adding 2 new characters makes for twice the story. K.G. Fletcher has written this story to draw you in and keep you reading. Or in my case listening to the narrator read the book for me. No cliffhangers, so it is okay to read this story as a standalone. But there is so much more in the waiting. No spoilers will be found in this review. Well done K.G. Fletcher! Well Done! I'm waiting for the next book in this amazing series of Reigning Hearts.

sweet love story

A sweet book about grief, healing, and love.
Even though sometimes it felt like insta-love, it was a fun listen.
This is the second book in the series, but the first one I've listened to. I like the main characters, but also the secondary characters, whose story is told in the first book, which I'd like to read.

Finding love after loss.

I really enjoy books written by Ms. Fletcher. Many of them romances that give you hope that love can be found in many situations. In this book, Ginger who lost her husband in an accident and Johnathan (a doctor) who is still mourning the loss of his wife meet when Ginger was having complications from breastfeeding. Will these two be able to work through their issues together and grow closer? Will their hearts be open enough to find that they need each other?
I love that Ms. Fletcher is also the narrator of the audio book.
