He knew all the actors and producers Kubrick worked with; he observed firsthand Kubrick's working methods, down to the smallest detail. great insight into a supeb filmmaker

Stanley Kubrick was always perceived as an impossible individual who was difficult to work with.
But here we get a different perspective of a genius, who had his peculiarities but was a caring individual.
He was fastidious about his art and in that he was inflexible but his brilliance came out in all of his 13 movies.
Loved this book and highly recommend it to every Kubrick fan.

When you have to climb a mountain you should never look at the summit. Keep your eyes on your feet and take one step at a time... wonderful story about a beautiful relationship between two men. I hate that it was cut short. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook.
