2 words, undulating and viscera.

I am deep into bog horror which is why I picked this up on audio. On a personal taste level, if it weren’t for audio I may have not finished it.

This novel was very flowery. So much so that I wasn’t exactly sure what was happening until about 6 chapters in. I can appreciate a visceral moment, but I felt the impact of the plot was sacrificed by descriptors.
