Love the full cast of voice actors

Hilarious introduction to a quirky world with a deeply imperfect protagonist. The full cast of voice actors is extremely well done and is totally the highlight of this book

Fun

It was a fun listen. I read this book years ago and had forgotten much of it.

The multiple voices help the story’s expansiveness

I liked the pace of the storytelling and the characters, the multiple voice actors helped to make it even more immersive.

That said, there were some audio elements from time to time that I can’t really describe or explain, but they pulled me out of the story temporarily. They may just be editing or maybe my phone hiccuping.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and I hope to find the second book on audible.

Favorite fantasy epic, with outstanding performances

This is a great series that is deep in the fantasy camp that keeps a light reading pace. It was a favorite childhood book of mine and the dramatic audio version is the actual reason I downloaded audible.

heavily abridged

if you liked the original spellsinger books, you will find about 1/3 of the original story missing. sad. it was much better in the longer version.
