Incredible , fun read !

I am not sure what I was expecting Speak to be, but it was such a fun surprise! I think most of us would love to have an Emmett in our lives! Wouldn't it be fun to have another opinion about important issues or a warning about danger? I know the communication between dog and human is not really a new concept, but this book is much more than that. The story line gets complicated and has several surprising twists that leaves the reader (listener) unable to stop , so all kinds of chores go undone until the book is finished.
Wow... ok I really really hope there will be more books with Emmett at the center.

Great story and performance

This was a fun and unique story. It definitely grabbed my heart as a dog owner. It addressed common desires behind every pet owner who sees their pet as more than just an animal. Performance enhanced the story.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.

This is not at all what I was expecting.

Doesn't really get much better than a book about rescuing a dog with special abilities. The plot was fun and the characters were relatable, I feel like the author should have gone in to more details in the end and some funny puppy moments but on awhole I really enjoyed this book!

OMG I loved it so much!

I kept picturing Emmet as my dog Ziggy! Great characters, great story, great plot!
Ellen was more than a little naive at times but she still kicked ass when it counted! So very happy with the ending. I love Don so much. Narration by Kari Ross was great but I felt I had to play the book at full column to hear it. That’s never the case with other audio books. I would 100% recommend this book and I will seek out more by this author.

An Unusual Dog

This is a difficult one to review, because I had little patients for Ellen the MC. She is a nieve, spoiled rich girl who wineies a lot. If you can get past this and keep going it turns into a good story in the end. Narrator does a good job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.
