Southern Humor and Comedy

Absolutely hilarious story of a US Marshal and an Assistant US Attorney who take on the Texas Mafia. A recreation of the Smokey and The Bandit race with lots of hi-jinks. The potato gun toting Grandma is the icing on the cake. Great job.

You love action, adventure, and mystery with laugh-out-loud moments all in a cute romance? Look no further. Highly recommend! Can’t wait for more from this author.

Fast pace, lots of action and all around entertaining. Will definitely go on my listen again list. New author and new narrator to me. I hope they team up again!

So Randomly Great!

Picked this after reading the summary. Very glad I did one day listen this was so entertaining. The narration was great. and the pork and beans line was fantastic. pretty much liked every character only complaint is I would have liked a series. So worth the time and money!

That was fun!

I've been a big fan of K.B. ever since the Uhaul Diaries and was ecstatic to see she was finally on Audible! Quick, witty banter is something I really appreciate in a book and this one does not disappoint. Lively, well thought out characters, a great story line and the perfect narrator in Whitney Dykhouse make for a book you will definitely listen to more than once. Can't wait for the next one!

It was well written, there was suspense and love that was hidden well. Good MC and some laughter.

Thoroughly enjoyable

This was a fun listen from beginning to end. Ryan was a go getter and Drew had some intriguing Secrets that completely change one's original point of view of the professional AUSA.

What a funny, witty book!

KB Draper always manages to make me laugh out loud. Her first attempt at romance is a smashing hit. No wonder this book is a Lambda Literary Finalist! I crush on both these characters. Ryann is a US Marshal and kind of a fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants girl who does her job well but sometimes pushes the boundaries. Drew is an assistant US Attorney who gets assigned a very important case and ends up needing (not wanting) protection until the case goes to trial. If you like hijinks, car chases, and grandmas with guts, listen to this book. Highly recommend!

Loved it

K. B. Draper has the best combination of characters in this book. I fell in love with spunky, witty, funny, rule breaking Ryann.
The best way for me to describe this book is: High Speed, Non-Stop, Who did it, Laugh Out Loud, Heck of a ride….and do not remove your seat belt till the very end!
Another plus it has a great narrator! Nothing ruins a book like a bad voice telling you a story.
I highly recommend this book because it has all the fun, mystery with a little romance to keep you on the edge of your seat.
