Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was thrilled to see M. C. Beaton back to form with this new book. The mystery was intriguing and Agatha Raisin was her irrepressible self. Still preferred Donata Peters as the reader. Penelope Keith's voice is too old for a 50 year old.

Penelope Keith definitely brings the characters to life as no other narrator does.

Good complicated mystery always with a tsist- (at least 3 in this book...Agatha often with good first instincts and multiple poisoning cases.

Agatha Keeps Getting Better

Agatha keeps getting better. This book had lots of unexpected twists and turns with interesting new characters. As always, Agatha is the glue that holds it all together and sees the mystery to the end. I'm already on to the next book.

Another Entertaining Agatha Raisin

This book has an intertwining plot that is exciting to read. Many fun surprises including a town conspiracy.

Murdering Old Witches

Agatha becomes involved in a nearby village with strange vibes. What keeps those villagers mum?
Even Charles and James get involved. Tony and Agatha have a run-in.

Witches, Blackmail and Murder, Oh My!

I love Penelope Kieth reading Agatha Raisin and she’s back, oh happy day!
This time we got the whole cast of characters in on the case. Roy nearly gets killed, Sir Charles gets in the way of a possible romance between Agatha and a suspect and James Lacey goes undercover and without issuing a spoiler that is a pun!
Toni gets engaged and even Mrs. Bloxby does a bit of sleuthing.
Another enjoyable romp in the Cotswolds!
