Wish this book was out in the 70s

A lot of good points in this book wish it was out when I was younger in my 50s now but think I learned a lot from it

There's nothing new here.

This book doesn't say anything about networking that hasn't already been said in other networking books. The information is correct, but not original.

Good tips, already inspired me to act

The book has already inspired me to grow my social wealth. The advice also strikes me as moral, as it emphasizes helping others with no expectation of getting anything in return directly.

Brilliant Communication Advice By Jason Treu

Jason Treu has spent many years researching and applying communication techniques. He shares this wisdom in his book. This is an Excellent book for even those who think they communicate well with others. I look forward to reading more of Jason’s books.

Common sense but hopefuls energy

Author is self-professed extrovert and many of his successes may not be the result of the advice he gives. (Like genetically gifted fitness trainers.) However, it is sound advice nonetheless. He prescribes a content-marketing style approach to networking with spreadsheets and all. Cumbersome, but if you're reading this to go to the next level with building social capital and influence, it's probably perfect advice.

Common sense stuff with a lot of author plugs

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I was hoping for something a little more philosophical and not so "self-helpy" - this did not meet my expectations but had good common sense techniques and ideas.
