Excellent!
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to both books. The narrator was good! Part 2 did a good job tying everything together and wrapping up the story. I hated for the story to end 😟 The author did an excellent job of characterization in such a way that you automatically become relatable with them and their world…allowing you to escape to another dimension for a while. Hoping for a part 3 as I would love to find out more on Gaven’s redemption.

Love it
This story had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. You know a book is good when you start to feel a way about the characters. Very well written.

The narrator
I liked the narrator from the first one snapped 2 I loved it but the narrator was boring and her man voice sounded like it was painful.

I hate when the bad guy wins.
I was so hopeful Cojo would not fall for the temptation to the bad brother. Sometimes good never pays off. FYI. I still choose good.

Great sequel
Enjoyed the characters and the storyline. Would not be a bad idea to add book 3 to see how the characters progressed or regressed. This book encourages me to follow author McKinney in her future efforts.
