Determined to get revenge, Cody journeyed back The Cobweb Tree in The Swampland Woods to the place he was sure he would find something to help him, only he got more than he bargained for.
The Cobweb Tree wasn't home to a goblin as Josh had thought, but it was home to someone else....

Cute kids story
Any additional comments?
After Cody's first adventure everyone is calling him Tody even his best friend. He wishes Brianna wouldn't have told everyone about the toads. He doesn't have time to think about that cause Josh and him are going to enter a competition in the Gardening club. The prize is money so of course a lot of kids sign up.
They have to plant a vegetable. Cody and Josh have squash and when something goes wrong with their squash Cody decides to go back to the place where to cave from the first book. There is someone or something in the cave. :)
I think this is a cute series for kids. It's a fun little adventure. The audio is so short but it's worth it if you child likes audios.

Inappropriate language for this age group
Would you try another book from Miranda Hardy and/or Jon Diienno?
No, I wouldn't try another book by this author because the l avoid books that use inappropriate language, like this book did. Having kids say "shut up" to each other and talk about "kissing (a teacher's) butt" doesn't match up with the 5-7 age recommendation.
What could Miranda Hardy have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Miranda Hardy could have put more effort into selecting inoffensive language that matched the recommended 5-7 age group. And if age recommendations are determined by Audible, then Audible is out of step with what's appropriate for young kids.
