New Worlds

Engaging storyline although the characters are relatively two dimensional. The narrator, though competent, did not differentiate the various character's voices sufficiently. Still enjoyable!

A captivating tale with memorable characters

My first read/listen from author Miranda Hardy. The author has woven a captivating fantasy tale with memorable characters. The narrator does an excellent job with voice inflections, adding to an already good read/listen. Well worth the 5+ hours it took to listen to the book.

Sweet Story

I didn't read book one, but I wasn't lost picking this up. This is a very sweet urban fantasy that is very pro family, and has some good messages people should take to heart about co-existing. Very light and enjoyable.

Pick this book up with an open mind. It is interesting.... but you've just never seen anything like this before.

very enjoyable

Miranda Hardy wrote an awesome, fast paced and entertaining story, an excellent audiobook. This is my first but not my last book of hers.
Seeing this is my first means I wasn't lost picking it up in book 2.
Danielle Marcel Bond made this book an honour to listen to.
This is a very sweet urban fantasy that is very pro family, and has good lessons.

Good book, terrible editing

I liked the story and will be looking for more by this author.

However, the editing was terrible. Multiple times sentence parts are repeated, and at one point the narrator clears her throat loudly and restarts her sentence! Did no one in post-production listen to this book?

Hearts Aligning by Miranda Hardy was a great read. Ellie's story reminds you that sometimes our clear path isn't as clear as we may think. Everyone's life in Saint's Grove is about to change. This was a great read and I can't wait to read more by Miranda Hardy.

Book 2

HEARTS ALIGNING is a story involving bar owner Ellie Whitaker, and werewolf shifter Bryan Nichols. A lunar eclipse preempts worm hole openings allowing aliens to depart and come through. Truths are revealed and histories unearthed that lead to personal discoveries and a family reunion for Ellie.
The story's premise is entertaining and you'll either love or hate the characters. I wanted to punch the main villain once or twice on Ellie's behalf. The romance is a little underwhelming; I didn’t feel the connection between our leading couple. Overall a good lite fantasy story. The narrator did a good job providing different voices for the characters.
