Love this RH Series

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Now Im dying and I have to finish the next one right now! This one was so good! It ended on such a cliffhanger! I wasn't prepared. I love the narrators as always! I also love Eva Chase!

Great Narrators, love the plot

Sinister Wizardry definitely amps up the pace of this series. Where Rory was definitely extremely biased against the fearmancers, you can see how she lets go of the extreme beliefs that fearmancers are all bad and joymancers all good. Not only that evolution is one that I enjoy, I also love the other scions standing up for her when they notice how their ways were wrong, building the relationship between Rory and them in the process. This series grows on me with every book and the narrators definitely bring the characters to life, conveying the emotions.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!! Soo good! 😭😍 That CLIFFHANGER!! I love the lust and the romance between the guys and Rory! Malcoms bullying is starting to lighten up and boys finally take a stand against him! Things are finally starting to fall into place! Lots of mystery and questions! I think my favorite is Jude lol I just love him! It was kinda slow in the middlish for me idk why I just kinda started to drift off and had to take pause but at the end and the beginning OMGG sooo good! I recommend this book and I can’t wait to see what’s next in the series! CLIFFHANGER!! 😂😍

Summer at villain academy

Wow that ending and cliffhanger I need the next book because wow what the heck? What will Rory do? What will the other scions do? Rory has a lot to figure out like what her mentor was trying to give her with that key and why someone spelled him in the first place but she has a summer session to deal with and of course it can’t be normal. This time the students will get a nary they have to influence to do something. Rory doesn’t want to hurt any of them and she wasn’t to keep the non magical users safe. I loved her idea and how she worked so hard to give the ordinary students somewhere safe they could call their own. Also loved how certain relationships progressed in this book. I look forward to what will happen next between the scions and Rory but I need the next book because that cliffhanger. Rory better figure something out or she is screwed and sadly not in a fun way.

I absolutely love this series. I have been reading and listening to this series and I absolutely love it so much. In this one Rory is really starting to work her magic on the guys and make them question themselves and everything that they have been taught. I just love it
I really enjoy the narrators for the audiobooks, they both do an amazing job with the different characters.

Gasping For Breath!

Just when you think things are changing for the better, the storm comes rushing in! I'm seriously on edge waiting to see what the next book will bring us!! Huge applause to Ms. Chase for gifting us another jaw dropping edition that will tug your heart in every direction!! The pacing and plot were phenomenal!! This academy series is unparalleled and starsky stands above the crowd!! I loved this book, it completely ran away with my heart. Eva Chase is most definitely one of my forever favorite authors!! I could not love Jude or Connor more!! They are just so delicious in their desire to woo Rory! I love that the group dynamic is changing. I so wanted Rory to shake up this world and rock the scion's foundation!! The tender moments we see from Connor in this book just make him this huge teddy bear and I seriously want to hug him!! Both he and Jude are serious contenders for book boyfriend material!! I could not part from this story for very long, I just had to read those captivating words!!!

Engaging story

This series has taken me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. And the cliff hanger was just plain cruel! Engaging characters and an intriguing story line. Can’t wait to finish the series.

Another grand slam!!

So very good ! I have really enjoyed this Series. Well written and the narrators are amazing. Oh that ending !!! On the edge of my seat for number 4!

Mixed Feelings

On the one hand, this story is so compelling. The magic system, the romance, and the school project are excellent. When any of those topics are the focus, the story flies.

But the main plotline/mystery is so boring. It's mostly Rory looking through paperwork that has to do with characters we don't care about, who are related to other characters we don't care about. I know that this will eventually come together to some big event but man... I wish I could skip all those parts. It's not like I'll remember any of the 1000 names that we added to the Bad Guy list. I mean... should fantasy have this much paperwork? Is there a magical more interesting way to discover information?

The bullying is also somewhat stale and we already had a climax where Debra was being threatened... so it's sort of... been done? The mean girls in particular are afully one note.

The main 5 and two or three other characters are very well done and pull me through the series. But I'm reluctant to keep going based on the slow pace and main plotline. The fun stuff with Malcome was a 10/10 especially things that happened in the classroom.
