Truth.. the TRUTH is what stood out in the book!

It was a tad slow getting started (for me) SO very glad I did not stop.. but kept listening and absorbing every word till the end. “They” don’t stand a chance, as long as we stay tethered to HIM. All Glory to GOD and his only son JESUS CHRIST my savior

This book helps you to see the lies of the enemy, Satan, on women! It’s very inspiring to move you towards breaking free from his flaxen cords that bind us and keep us from the true light and love of our Savior, Jesus Christ. This is one that I intend to read over and over!

Just like in the original Screwtape Letters, the author clarifies so many tricks and techniques of the devil in such an interesting, letter-style way that I barely wanted to stop listening to process what I’d heard.

It’s been ages since I’ve read anything that simultaneously puts in stark contrast exactly what the devil does and how he ensnares us, exactly the truth of God’s way, AND encouraged and uplifted me at the same time. It’s rare to find such clear and compassionate correction in the spiritual life, but this book does it beautifully.

I read it along with a friend and we bonded over past struggles, growth we’ve made, current difficulties, and ways we knew we needed to make changes after reading. I highly recommend listening at the same time as a friend.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this book was very relatable and helpful for my spiritual life. I definitely recommend that you give it a try.

I loved this book. It has such a great message. All women should read this book. It will change your life for the better.

Thought provoking

This book brought to the forefront the many ways our culture and the enemy come between us and our Sovereign God. Hopefully it will be a reminder to me in the future as those situations arise and I am tempted to lean toward them rather than toward God.
The book was rather long, I feel it could have been shorter and still conveyed the same message. But overall, I very much enjoyed it!
