Kill!! He's the perfect alpha male! Strong, relentless, pertinent, sexy, alpha male to the max and compassionate.

I wanted to return this book

I thought this book was soon unbelievable!! I wanted my money back! First time I ever said that

This book is just okay. Narrator is annoying!

I got so annoyed with this book that I stoped listening to type out my review!! That is not a good thing for thisbook Narrator ir Author! The narrator isn't all that terrible the wntire time but she isn't great either.
She has this small annoying lisp like sound when she speaks and that is not okay when your a reader for Audible!!
Her English accent is great and I can listen to that all. day but not the awful male yelling voice she gas going on. It is Terrible!!
I do not really care to listen to her narrations again.

As for this book and Author: I cannot stand when things are repeated over and over again Like "I bit lip" "I bit my lip" I bot my Lip" I bot my lip" I bot my lip" See!!!! Eerrgghh!!! It's Annoying wven reading it over and over again.
It's not as "great" as the other reviews I read made this series out to be.
A few reviews I do agree with like how it's frustrating how often they have sex with him having a concussion and she never really tries to not have sex with him knowing it could seriously harm him or kill him! It makes her seem like a major selfish "B"a! She sorta mentions it for a split second once but there was no real heart put into it. Neither of them try not to and there's nothing exciting or dark about any of the sexy times. I cannot stand when a book especially a series has way to much boring sex with no good darkness or real action or purpose other than "Oh my god I love this woman so much she is my world on repeat over and over again and Visa Versa for how much she loves him etc.
Its so annoying and just regular and frustrating!
Theres nothing special about it at all.
To much of a good thing is terrible.
This Author is not a great one. I've listened to her other book some anyway and none if them are all that great or I feel like I want more. They are all missing something or several things.
She needs to o better because many of her books do hook me in. But they never make me want to stay or read more. UGH!

love this story

I really enjoyed reading / listening to this book as much as the first. gotta love a happy ending after almost 30 hours total for both books. but was very happy all around with the series.

Very good, story was awesome. The person speaking for Cloe wad good on her accent.

What a way to end this duet...

I couldn't stop once I started, Kill and Cleo's story was raw, passionate, a love story made for fairytales. I don't know why I didn't read this duet sooner. I'm just glad I finally read it otherwise I would have missed out.

The narrator did a good job, I just wish there was a male voice for Kill.

Like a lot of people who have already reviewed, I read the first book and was eager to find out what would happen in this book. Though there were some great moments, it didn't hold up to the first. This is a work of fiction based in realism, yet some parts are unbelievable for the real world, especially Killian's master plan. Also, Chloe got on my nerves a bit in this one. Actually, their relationship got on my nerves. The narrator was great though, and did the male voices very well. This story tried to follow with the mystery and intrigue, but ended feeling repetitive and boring

IT'S ALL HERE.. THE SINS THE SUFFERING & THE LOVE

This second roller coaster ride into the tumultuous world that Arthur (aka Art/Kill) and the once lost but now found love of his life Chloe was just as dark, mysterious, suspenseful, sexy, romantic and cluttered with secrets as the first book was as they desperately grabbed and hung on to each other through a nightmare of despair in the hope of getting their second chance at a HEA.

It was sometimes violent, often nerve wracking, had surprises, shocks and revelations as each unpredictable Chapter unfolded and the War between rival MC's pitched a no good evil and deadly Father against his vengeful Son Kill who was determined to seek revenge, free his torment, gain absolution from past crimes and protect Chloe.... the woman he loved beyond all else and would gladly die for. But in doing so Kill put his life in terrible danger, lost MC brothers and temporarily severed the soul-deep connection between himself and Chloe that had been forged in childhood. However, the biggest life altering secret would be revealed when Wall Street, Kill's Mentor, the Puppet Master and once his cell mate, was released from Prison and all the Chess pieces were finally in place to fit the last piece into this crazy, all consuming and addictive puzzle.

This was a riveting listen from beginning to end, it had lots of intense sex, a beautiful yet tragic love story, thrills, chills, danger, kidnapping, blood lust, blood loss, nail biting suspense and some touch and go life threatening scenes but through it all Chloe and Kill loved each other fiercely. Told from alternating POV's with each Chapter starting off with a brief glimpse into their pasts and giving an insight into their feelings and young love. Great narration - there was never any doubt as to who was talking - with good male voices too.

Worth a credit? YES, but it's been an emotional, tense and exhausting listen.... and I wouldn't change a thing because this gifted Author and Narrator combo have given me a very enjoyable, haunting, memorable, addictive listen and, in the end, I was rewarded with a wonderful HEA too.

An HEA Labyrinth! I loved every turn.

I don’t even know where to start. I almost didn’t finish the first book because it started out so dark. I soldiered on because it came highly recommended. When I got to the end, I had no choice but to continue with this one. How the author went from dark human trafficking (it really wasn’t) to the HEA that is the end of this book is beyond me. I’m still trying to wrap my brain around it. Please tell me there’s going to be a third book!!!

Absolutely loved it

I absolutely loved it. The story has great flow and the spicy parts were sexy without being over the top or too much. Now I just want more with the characters
