Simone is a lot of laughs

I like the book set experiencing Siemens dates. several times I burst out laughing. Other times I was a bit disappointed. In total I enjoyed the listen.

Funny? I'm sorry but were you all joking?

I'm on book 2 and have yet to guffaw. I ready Carpe DiEmily by the same author and really enjoyed it but this is really disappointing. Full of tired old clichés. Whiney heroine.

I can't even explain how crappy this is. I'm SO disappointed. I was really hoping for a good laugh.

This was interesting and fun, low on sex. but over all a good series. it was a good listen.

Hilarious, witty story

If you could sum up Simone: Adventures in Dating (Boxed Set), Books 1-5 in three words, what would they be?

Witty, funny, engaging.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Simone as a character. She's strong and funny with a quirky personality. I loved following her dating adventures (or, I should say, MIS-adventures) as she searches for love. This book just got funnier with each chapter as Simone keeps meeting one Mr. Wrong after another. The situations she finds herself in are hilarious! We've all had bad dates in life, and to read about Simone's unique and funny dating travails had me in stitches.

What about Elizabeth Powers’s performance did you like?

Everything. She made the characters come alive. She made this book even funnier with her creative renditions of the characters.

If you could take any character from Simone: Adventures in Dating (Boxed Set), Books 1-5 out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would take out Simone. She would make any party a hoot! You never know what's going to come out of her mouth, LOL

Any additional comments?

This book was one of the best books I've listened to in a long time, and I listen to A LOT of audio books and am very picky. The writing and narration in this book were top notch. I enjoyed the humor, the romance, the characters, and the steamy scenes. The story moved along at a nice pace, and I never knew what was going to happen next. The characters were unique and quirky but also realistic with good back-and-forth dialogue. I would have to say that this book was unlike any book I've ever listened to. It's truly in a league of its own. 5 stars for originality and enjoyability.

Too phony

It was funny at times but annoying most of the time. I think the author went way too far. I couldn't even pretend that most if could happen. It was uncomfortable and fake.
