What was one of the most memorable moments of Romance: Simone?

All of the unexpected funny scenes and plot twists. Great to listen to. This book had me chuckling on my way to work. A great way to start the day.

What about Elizabeth Powers’s performance did you like?

She's a talented narrator with the ability to do different character effectively.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I liked the steamy love scenes. Well done and hot!

This book was so fun to listen to that I immediately purchased the rest in the series, along with the spin-off, CARPE DiEMILY. Engaging story, funny writing, clear narration, and a cast of zany characters that will have you laughing out loud. Highly recommend!

Where does Romance: Simone rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Much funnier than most books I've listened to, especially in this genre. This book had a unique blend of humor, romance, steamy scenes, and adventure. A really fun blend to listen to.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Romance: Simone?

All of the scenes between Simone and Pierce. I loved their back-and-forth dialogue and their cat-and-mouse interactions.

If you could take any character from Romance: Simone out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would take Simone out to dinner. She's hilarious, and you never know what's going to come out of her mouth! Everything would be an adventure with her.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It brought me back to all those years of dating, but with a much funnier spin!

Worth the credit

What did you love best about Romance: Simone?

This is a good lead-in to a very funny series. I loved the witty humor, the interactions between the characters, the crazy situations that Simone gets herself into (LOL!), and the misadventures that happen on her journey to finding love. This first book was really enjoyable because of the banter and sexual tension that happens between Simone and the billionaire. I thought it might be another predictable billionaire romance, but it was anything but. In fact, the storyline kept me guessing the whole way through. I also loved the intimate scenes. Very hot!

What other book might you compare Romance: Simone to and why?

Any of J.S. Scott's romances, but with more humor. This book was very unique in that there is a good amount of humor and funny scenes that will keep you in stitches. That's unusual for a romance series, but I found that it added to the story and characters. I love that Simone is such a gutsy character. I found this book (and entire series) to be highly enjoyable.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the witty bantering between Simone and the billionaire at the bank. It had me laughing out loud. So many innuendos and double meanings. Very funny! And also very sexy. I loved listening to that whole scene. Great writing, and the narrator did an excellent job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Simone's letdown on Valentine's Day. We've all been there. It's hard to be in the dating world and think you've found the perfect guy, only to have your hopes dashed. Very realistic and moving.

Any additional comments?

This is a unique book with interesting characters and a lot of humor. The interactions between the friends was especially fun to listen to, along with the steamy scenes between the main character and her love interest.
