Great story and narration.

Sarina Bowen somehow keeps coming up with unique takes on the Hockey sports romance trope.

Jason Clarke is always a fantastic listening experience. Vanessa Edwin is one of the few women who stand shoulder to shoulder with Jason’s talent.

Great book all around, got me hooked till the end and I didn’t want to put it done!! I want a little extra Silas and Delalah though, they’re my fav !!!

Vegas oops wedding

Two professional hockey players, one male and one female get drunk and married in Vegas. Charlie the girl is closed off, poor and has had a terrible life. Neil grew up rich and is still very rich. Can the two of them sort out a life? Average story, interesting characters with great narrators.

In a nutshell.... fantastic. I loved everything about this book and audio. I finished this VERY early this morning and it was worth any lost sleep. Enjoy.

Charlie & Neil Story

I have enjoyed this series and this book was no exception. I was kind of sad by Charlie’s back story kind of knew something had happened for her to be so defensive. I loved how Neil knew better than just to come in save her and at the same time loved that she allowed him in and he protected her. Can’t go wrong with a happy ending and not letting the bad one win.

More Brooklyn Bruisers!

If you have enjoyed the Brooklyn Bruisers series by Sarina Bowen, then you don’t want to miss this one! In this Vegas wedding/marriage of convenience story you will find familiar tropes, but with some fun and unexpected twists that elevates the story to something really special. On occasion I wanted to tell the heroine to just “get over it”, but I understand her history and where it comes from. Overall I really enjoyed revisiting the Brooklyn Bruisers family and seeing all the characters again. Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin were outstanding as expected and made this a 5 star listen for me.
