This book is taking me on a beautiful faith walk with God, It just taught me to live through difficult times, I can't wait for the next journey in this book Thank you so much to the right of this book And to God The other glory.

The experience of journeying through this series played on every one of my emotions. It was captivating and humbling to be placed within a time period I previously was only able to imagine. I now feel that I truly lived through it.

What disappointed you about Seeds of Christianity 4-Book Boxed Set?

The first book, Witness, was a good story line that kept me listening even though I was not pleased with the narrator

Would you ever listen to anything by E. G. Lewis again?

Not with the same narrator - I have decided to not listen to the rest after making it only a few chapters into the second book.

Would you be willing to try another one of Ruth Elsbree’s performances?

Never

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Yes, I liked the first book for it's story line - I wanted to be able to listen to the other 3 but could not get into the second book. It was not good enough to endure the narrator.

Great Series Other than Narration

the stories were wonderful tale of what could have happened in the folds of Biblical history. at times the narrator snatched me back to current time with her Wisconsin accent, I found myself concentrating on how she said her 'a' more than the story. other than that, I enjoyed this series.

First audio book series I ever completed

This series was given to me as a gift and once I started listening to it I could not stop. I have repeatedly found myself arrived at my destination and not wanting to get out of my vehicle & stop the audio. The narration by Ruth Elsbree was excellent and held my attention, even during my frequent 10 hour long drives. The many characters were well voice separated, making the story easy to follow or pick back up. The story made me laugh cry think and give me knowledge about the beginning of Christianity that I never would have otherwise taken the time to learn.

Wow Wow Wow! Sooooo good! Helps you understand more about the Early Christian Church “The Way”. Recommend to anyone interested in early church history. Thanks for a 4 book boxed set, with one more to come!

Excellent series!

The Seeds of Christianity books were absolutely wonderful historical fiction! What a realistic trip throughout Bethlehem, Jerusalem and beyond, we traveled with Rivkah and her family. It was fascinating to see how E. Lewis intertwined her life with that of Jesus, Mary, other Biblical characters and various apostles.

Ruth Elsbree did a phenomenal job narrating these books! She brought all the characters to life in such realistic ways. Her voice became like a dear, soothing friend. Wonderful!

Outstanding Set of Books!

It was very hard to shut down the program at bedtime. This is one of the best examples of Biblical Historical Fiction that I have read (or rather listened to) in a long time. I highly recommend this outstanding set of books!!!

hard to listen to

I really enjoyed the story, but it was hard to listen to at times. I could tell the reader was reading. It made conversations hard to understand.
